Favicon Checker, manifest coverage and Apple touch-icon audit

A second dedicated checker joins Open Graph. The same engine now scores the entire favicon set — HTML icons, /favicon.ico fallback, apple-touch-icon, Web App Manifest and Safari mask-icon — across 14 weighted checks.

  • Added Favicon Checker at /checker/favicon with a 0–100 score, 14 deterministic checks and platform previews.
  • Added REST endpoint GET /api/v1/favicon/check with Bearer key auth and POST JSON variant.
  • Added MCP tools check_favicon and suggest_favicon_fix wired through the same loader.
  • Added Shared-report routing learns a favicon-check kind so 30-day links render the favicon report.
  • Improved Pricing copy now reflects both checkers: 3 / 1,000 each per month.
  • Improved ScoreCard surfaces info-level checks as a Notes counter so every weighted check is visible.

Seven platform previews, four generator templates

The checker now renders every major platform preview from the same report, and the generator ships four layout templates with brand-colour aware contrast.

  • Added Platform previews for X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Discord, WhatsApp, Slack and Telegram.
  • Added Generator templates: minimal, gradient, dark and brand.
  • Added PNG, WebP and SVG export from one parameter set.
  • Added Status page and public changelog.
  • Improved Check engine now reports 15 weighted checks with a per-check breakdown.
  • Improved OG image validation follows one redirect before reporting a failure.

MCP server, skills and shareable reports

SiteAssets became callable from the editor: an MCP server wrapping the same engine, plus permanent shareable report links for Pro accounts.

  • Added MCP server with check_open_graph, suggest_open_graph_fix and generate_og_image.
  • Added Skills library with reusable SiteAssets recipes.
  • Added Shareable reports with a 30-day public link.
  • Added Anonymous rate limiting per IP with Retry-After headers on 429.
  • Improved Anonymous results are cached for 10 minutes instead of re-fetching.
  • Improved Redirects are followed hop by hop so every target is re-validated.
  • Fixed Truncated HTML bodies are reported instead of silently scoring 0.
